We've all heard the old expression, "you can please some of the people, some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time" and this is exactly where HRB2 begins...

Hospital Radio Bedside broadcasts to listeners of every age. It is impossible to keep everyone happy all the time. A second service allows us to aim Hospital Radio Bedside more directly at the 55-year old average which makes up the majority of our listeners. At the same time, HRB2 will entertain the under 30s.

Not only will the two services work together to provide a broader range of interest, but our organisation should also gain from increased sponsorship opportunities.

We are one of the first hospital radio stations to offer two services and hope to push the boundaries of what can be achieved on a small budget.
