Andy has been a member of HRB for about a year now,  Andy is married with two children - Reef and Summer and lives in Parkstone, Poole.

Andy's interest in hospital broadcasting goes back to the late eighties, when he produced and presented various shows on Radio Tyneside in the North East. After a gap he was reintroduced the the world of broadcasting by our very own Andy Scott, after some retraining and guest presenting, Andy become and fully qualified HRB presenter. Andy currently presents to Tuesday Request Show and is also Head of Programmes.

As Head or Programmes, Andy is responsible for the voice of the presenters, coverage of the schedule and training of new presenters. Andy has taken to this new "Head of" position with great gusto and commitment, he states "I love presenting the request show, it gives me the chance to connect with the patients and play a great spectrum of music", he adds. "As Head of Programmes, I love discussing show ideas and formats with the team and training the new members".
