That's The Spirit plays hymns and Christian artists, beginning the show with the more traditional ending with the more lively.

There is usually a Bible reading or story on which the whole theme of the music will be based. That's The Spirit celebrates Christmas, Easter, Pentecost, Harvest and a whole host of other events during the year.

Occasionally the team venture out of the studio to record a special service from a local church, such as St Luke's Day, Hospital Sunday and at Christmas.

The show also includes church events from parish magazines - just to keep you in touch with what may be happening in your local church.
