The title of honorary member is exactly that, an honour, and not one given lightly!

Honorary membership is offered to those who have shown dedication to Hospital Radio Bedside for many years, "above and beyond the call of duty" you could say... It is a release from all obligations and a sign of giving something back.

Honorary membership is also offered in the same way as honorary degrees are offered by universities - to certain people who have befriended our charity and helped us enormously, without ever having been a member.

The dedication that all of these people have shown to our cause is hugely appreciated. How many people do you know, for example, who have given 30 years of their life to one charity?
