With new studio broadcasting equipment we are now able to stream our output online to allow those outside our hospitals to listen to the requests playing for their friends and loved ones. We are becoming more and more adventurous with our fund raising and publicity events and have once again become involved in carnivals.

Hospital Radio Bedside continues to go from strength to strength. With HRB2 in the pipeline and an ever-expanding group of dedicated volunteers, we are continuing to develop the organisation and improve the service we offer...

We have recently been awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. Its purpose is to recognise groups of individuals who are giving their time freely for the benefit of others. It is the highest honour that can be bestowed upon groups of this kind and is equivalent in status to the MBE.
